June 15th Friday -Hui o Ko’olaupoko VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
Come join us from 9-12am removing invasive plants to keep the Kailua watershed clean.
Volunteer to help maintain this project in urban Kailua while learning about native Hawaiian plants and local watershed issues. Join one of our regularly scheduled community workdays or arrange a private workday for groups of five or more. Volunteers are asked to wear shoes and work clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty, bring a water bottle, and snack. Work gloves & tools will be provided. We may also head to the beach to do a short beach cleanup and take a rewarding dip in the ocean when we are all pau!
Participants under age 16 must have adult supervision. Participants under the age of 18, attending without their parent or legal guardian must bring the signed waiver.
